STORIES OF SUCCESS

Planting Seeds of Citizenship: How One Fellow Sparked a School-Wide Movement

Kaurabi, a Year 2 Teach For India Fellow, has been a driving force behind the spread of India & I Studies in her school. After implementing the curriculum in her first year and witnessing her students become more articulate, aware, and active citizens, she chose to scale her impact. In Year 2, she joined the Teacher Training Track and mentored seven non-TFI teachers, all of whom successfully ran the program in their classrooms. One of her mentees, Nahid, inspired by the transformation, now plans to become a mentor herself—committed to taking India & I Studies to every classroom in the school.
